Another week, another episode of The Kardashians on Disney Plus for UK viewers, or Hulu for those across the pond.

This time, Kendall is staying away from the kitchen, much to the relief of cucumbers everywhere. Instead, she's off on a shopping trip with Khloe when Kris gives her a call.

Kendall reveals her mum has already hung up on her earlier, before asking her why she never answers her calls.

The conversation, however, gets quickly derailed when Kris spots a Madame Alexander doll display and asks Khloe to get them all, as they're her favourite doll. See for yourself below.

The famous family's new series landed on the streamer in April, and it has received praise from fans and critic alike since.

The new filming style is more akin to documentary than reality, which showrunner Danielle King told Variety "really elevated the look and the style of the show from the cameras that we’re using, to doing a lot with drones".

It certainly has a more cinematic feel to it, with the family breaking the fourth wall and addressing the audience, which King added helps make it "a lot more intimate".

It helps that Kardashians are also delving into their highly-publicised dramas in a more open, honest way. Kim Kardashian's divorce to Kanye West, her new relationship with SNL comedian Pete Davidson and Kourtney's wedding(s) to Travis Barker are just some of the topics they cover in this new season.

It marks the first of likely many on Hulu/Disney, a deal Kris Jenner termed a “no brainer”. "This is the next chapter," she explained during the Disney Upfronts event.

"In the new show, you'll see us evolving as a family. Fans want us to be who we are, and since moment one, they've been emotionally invested in our show, just like we are. The fans will love seeing us continue the journey. I can't say much about what's coming, but spoiler – we're going to look fabulous and everyone's going to watch."

Fans have been clamouring to know which of the Kardashian-Jenner family clan will be making their onscreen return.

There’s good news on this front – all of the Kardashian members are on board for the new show.

This means that we can expect our favourite faces, including Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner to appear in the show.

Tristan Thompson will also be appearing on the show. Rob K will make guest appearances. However, Caitlyn Jenner won't feature.

"But @ScottDisick is coming with us to Hulu sooooooo I get it BUT he will be back!!!!" Kim told fans on Instagram after Keeping Up with the Kardashians came to an end.

While Kim's romance with Davidson will be explored in the new series, the SNL comedian won't appear in the show - well, not in season 1, anyway.

"I have not filmed with him," Kim K told Variety. "And I’m not opposed to it. It's just not what he does. But if there was an event happening and he was there, he wouldn’t tell the cameras to get away. I think I might film something really exciting coming, but it wouldn't be for this season."

The reality TV star added that the show will reveal "how we met and who reached out to who and how it happened and all the details that everyone wants to know".

"I’m definitely open to talking, and I definitely explain it," she continued.

Kanye West will be in the series, which was filmed before things turned acrimonious between the former couple. His appearance is reported to be integral to episode 1.

"Being in the public eye and having disagreements publicly is never easy," Kim told the publication. "But I do believe in handling it all privately. I believe in championing publicly and criticising privately. I don't think I would ever criticise the father of my children on my TV show. That's just not really what I’m about, and I just don’t think that would ever make me feel good."

She added: "I'm always really respectful of what the kids will see. The reality is, we’re always a family. We always will have a love and respect for each other. And even if there’s moments where it might not seem like that, there are so many moments that are super positive. I do think it’s important for people to see that things aren’t perfect all the time, but that they can get better."

The Kardashians plot

Released last month, the first-look trailer promises that "all the walls will be shattered" in the new series. Disney says the show will be “an all-access pass” into the lives of the world’s most famous celebrity family as they run their business empires and love lives.

The Kardashians is set to detail Kim Kardashian's divorce from Kanye West, and delve into her new relationship with Pete Davidson. Though SNL star Davidson won't be in season one, Kim K doesn't rule him out from appearing in the second instalment.

"I have not filmed with him," Kim K recently told Variety. "And I’m not opposed to it. It's just not what he does. But if there was an event happening and he was there, he wouldn’t tell the cameras to get away. I think I might film something really exciting coming, but it wouldn't be for this season."

We also know that Tristan Thompson, the on/off partner of Khloe Kardashian, will be in the new show, as will the revelation that he has fathered a child with another woman.

On the feel of the new show, Kim added to the publication: "My goal was that it was familiar and felt like home, like, ‘Oh, my God, they’re back.' But updated or just a little bit more intimate."

In an interview with the Wall Street Journal back in October 2021, Kim also gave fans a clue what to expect.

Kim explained that the family have retained editing rights over the new show – and that it will focus on the family’s business enterprises rather than dramatic plot-lines.

"I think it will be a different side," she told the publication. "But I wouldn't say that our silly sides are not going to come out."

Kris Jenner has also hinted at what’s in store for fans, explaining that the new show will depart from the original.

"This is the next chapter," Kris revealed at Disney's Upfronts virtual presentation in May 2021.

"In the new show, you'll see us evolving as a family, fans want us to be who we are and since moment one, they've been emotionally invested in our show just like we are," she revealed.

"The fans will love seeing us continue the journey. I can't say much about what's coming but spoiler – we're going to look fabulous and everyone's going to watch."
